We created the visual identity of the international network INC (International Nucleome Consortium). This identity had to meet 3 objectives: (i) to distinguish itself from other scientific networks while remaining professional, in line with the research field, (ii) to convey a modern image, (iii) to create a high-impact visual, easy to remember (especially for the Twitter account). Finally, the logo was designed using institutional codes with a contemporary and original typography. The INC is a network established to connect various scientific experts (biologists, physicists, mathematicians, statisticians, data scientists) who are trying to discover the mechanisms that control the nuclear architecture. Nuclear architecture refers to the three-dimensional structure that DNA adopts in the nucleus of each cell. This structure plays a major role on the activity (expression) of our genes. Therefore, understanding the molecular mechanisms that establish the nuclear architecture will elucidate their potential involvement in certain diseases and beyond.
