On the front, the public will find a summary of the evening's activities: urban walks, workshops, speed-searching, pop-culture, improvisation theatre, etc.
On the back, we designed an original map to indicate the location of most of the activities. We've embellished this map with emblematic characters from the world of science and science fiction. It features A. Einstein in informal discussion with Yoda, on a comfortable corner sofa, at the Cité du Design in Saint-Étienne (France). We've also added a touch of humour with a treasure hunt featuring hidden illustrated objects. These objects, linked to the themes addressed by the researchers, could be found throughout the evening.
The European Researchers' Night is an invitation to the general public to discover recent scientific discoveries with those involved in research. The event takes place every year in several hundred European cities, including 16 in mainland France and overseas.
